It’s one of my two favourite trucks that I walk past on a semi-regular basis. I’m also somewhat tempted to leave a note asking if they’d like to sell, because I’m in denial about how little space I have.

Find out what the deal is. It’s for the greater good.
I haven’t seen one that clean since I was selling them.

The same house has that XJ you see behind it, and a PT Cruiser. The truck is in the best shape of all of them, I see it getting washed pretty often by an older guy, and also see it with soil and bricks and other random stuff in the back, but only sometimes. I think it gets driven the least, only when they need to do pickup things.

It’s weird to see a clean one. The ones around me are all owned by 17 year old kids who beat the shit out of them, or construction companies.
There’s ONE nice Chevy nearby, and I have a buddy with a fairly decent ‘97 Sierra.

Tasty. What do those go for?

Around here there are still clean ones like this, but most have at least some rust in the fenders, rockers, cab corners. The really clean ones are usually optioned out 4x4s, it’s really unusual to see a clean basic one in a nice colour

There seems to be a huge variety in price. I found one nice 2500 single cab long box for $3k, and any other really clean ones were extended cab 4x4s, and those are anywhere from $7k-$15k.
You can get a decent one with some actual signs of use for like $2500 though.

$7k-$15k. Wow.
$2500 isn’t too bad but I still had no idea these things commanded such prices.

That’s just a few, there are hardly any crazy clean ones, and who knows if they’re actually getting those asking prices. All the GMT400 stuff seems pretty expensive around here though. CAD, mind you

Oh, Canadian dollars, okay. This still gives me the vibe of a car that’s going to be C10-expensive someday.
